Barnes and Noble summer reading 2020: Will there be a summer reading programme? | Books | Entertainment

There are three age ranges specified, with a list of books available to be read for each age range.

These are split into “grades,” or classes, starting at Grade 1, which is the equivalent to Year 2 in the UK, going up to Grade 6, which is the equivalent of Year 7, or the first year of secondary school.

The lists also have classics on them, including Frances Hodges Burnett’s The Secret Garden, A Bear Called Paddington by Michael Bond and Demon Dentist by David Walliams.

To join the summer reading programme parents should first download the journal, which is available on the Barnes and Noble website, to see what the reading lists are for different age groups.
