Diogo Jota has been ruled out of Liverpool‘s match against Fulham on Sunday, according to reports. Jota has picked up a knee injury and will miss the trip to Craven Cottage. The Reds are said to be anxious over the extent of the problem as the club continue to do tests on the Portugal international.

Jota’s injury adds to the long list of fitness issues Liverpool have had this season.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp gave an update on his injured players.

At the time, Klopp didn’t rule Jota out completely but said Kostas Tsimikas was also a doubt for the trip to Craven Cottage.

“Kostas, we have to see,” Klopp said. “Diogo got a knock as well.
