Elvis Presley’s Jungle Room St Francis statue revealed in new Graceland video | Music | Entertainment

Just like many National Historic Landmarks across the US, Graceland has been closed during the coronavirus pandemic. Nevertheless, in the meantime, the staff at Elvis Presley’s home are bringing some videos from within to entertain fans. The first reveals a little known fact about the famous Jungle Room.

The official Graceland Instagram account wrote: “While Graceland is closed, we’ll bring Graceland to you!

“Check out to this video to learn more about a piece in The Jungle Room you might not have noticed before.”

In the video, a staff member says: “Welcome back to the Jungle Room here at Graceland!

“There are so many fun things here in the Jungle Room.”

Following Graceland’s closure, the site has shown a sign of solidarity with a patriotic move.

The Memphis mansion has been lit up in the red, white and blue of the American flag.

This will remain in place until Graceland reopens, which they hope will be from April 4.

Although fans should probably expect that date to extend as the pandemic spreads.

Graceland wrote: “These are unprecedented times, but we’re all in this together.

“As a sign of solidarity, Graceland Mansion will be lit red, white and blue nightly at sunset until we reopen to the public.”

“From our Graceland family to yours, we wish everyone around the world health and happiness.

“We look forward to welcoming you back at Graceland soon. See the mansion live on our webcam at”
