Last week, what is believed to be a major leak for No Time To Die hit the internet. And now former Bond girl Britt Ekland has weighed in on the plot point surrounding Daniel Craig’s 007. WARNING: POTENTIAL MAJOR SPOILERS FOR NO TIME TO DIE AHEAD.
A principal photography call sheet for No Time To Die ended up on eBay from the Italian shoot.
The papers featured numbered scene details, including a new previously unmentioned character.
In the final scenes of No Time To Die, Léa Seydoux’s Madeleine Swann is escaping the lair of Rami Malek’s villain with Lashana Lynch’s Nomi.
However, they are accompanied by a child called Mathilde, played by child actress Lisa-Dorah Sonnet.
Scene 235 is labelled: “Nomi pilots Madeleine and Mathilde to safety with island in the background.”
While the latest in scene 253, which could well be No Time To Die’s epilogue, reads: “Madeleine is going to tell Mathilde a story, they drive into a tunnel.”
Spotted in set photos, the child actress is supposed to be around five years old and let’s not forget that No Time To Die is set five years after Spectre.
So the big speculation right now is that Mathilde is the daughter of Madeleine and Bond.
Asked if Bond being a father ruins the 007 bachelor fantasy, Sir Roger Moore’s co-star said: “I think so. I, personally, think so.
“But [Bond producers] Barbara [Broccoli] and Michael [G Wilson], they know better than me so…”
Ekland, who is very proud to be a Bond girl and not in favour of politically correct updates to the franchise, said “It would be wonderful if [after Daniel Craig] they turned back in time and turned to the traditional, old-fashioned, bachelor, pipe-smoking [spy].”
Meanwhile, Morgan asked if he could play the next Bond.
However, Ekland hilariously fat-shamed the GMB host, which he found very funny.
She told the 55-year-old: “You like me have to probably get rid of a couple of corona kilos.”
This shouldn’t be surprising considering the incredible shape Daniel Craig is in for No Time To Die.
No Time To Die is released in UK cinemas on November 12, 2020.
