Kate Middleton news: Prince Charles wedding gift was hugely extravagant

It is common for people to give gifts on their wedding day. However, not everyone receives diamond jewellery.

He gave Meghan a diamond tennis bracelet, which was a gift from Prince Charles.

Supposedly from the “Essential Lines” collection, the white gold and diamond bracelet is thought to have cost £38,500.

He has also given jewellery worth huge sums of money to his wife, Camilla the Duchess of Cornwall, 72.

These include jewellery from Van Cleef & Arpels, an international jewellery brand.

Camilla often wears a pair of £33,700 earrings, the Magic Alhambra earrings.

The pieces are made of 18k gold and are set with 158 diamonds.

Camilla also owns the Magic Alhambra Malachite earrings, which are listed for $8,850 or £6,807.42.

Camilla also regularly wears a chocker with a huge pink topaz, five pearl strands and a diamond clasp, which is reported to be a gift from Charles.

Camilla has owned this piece for over a decade.

Kate Middleton’s earrings have taken centre stage in lockdown.

Eagle-eyed royal fans may have noticed the Duchess wearing one piece of jewellery more than any other.

Kate’s favourite Catherine Zoraida gold fern earrings have been the secret to her lockdown look and she has worn for nearly all of her lockdown appearances.

The delicate gold drop earrings are the shaped of fern leaves and cost £160.
