Melania Trump opted for a navy and white ensemble as she stepped out in Washington D.C. She was spotted speaking with children at the event which she attended without her husband, President Donald Trump, 74.
While there, the former model was seen sorting toys and playing with children.
Melania also had a focus on safety while at the event.
She covered up by wearing a plain white face mask and was seen using hand sanitiser and encouraging children to wash their hands.
Melania opted for a reserved wintery look to make an appearance at the drive.
The First Lady wore a blue Ralph Lauren Pea Coat which had a v-neckline and was held closed by four buttons.
Similar designs by the fashion house are on sale for around £395.
She wore the coat over an ivory roll neck jumper which also appeared to be from Ralph Lauren, costing £99.
The look was completed with a pair of chic straight cigarette trousers.
While at the base, the First Lady made a speech where she encouraged kindness over the Christmas period.
She said: “Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many Americans are spending the holidays separated from their loved ones and have to change routines they’ve had for many years.
“Remember that small acts of kindness such as calling your friends and neighbours or making holiday cards for a nearby nursing home can go a long way in spreading cheer and helping those struggling with change.
“Let’s all do a part to be best during these difficult times.”

Melania’s parents are Amalija Knavs and Viktor Knavs, and the couple live together in Washington.
She has one sister, Ines, who is reported to live in New York and work as an artist.
On May 7 2018, Melania launched her flagship campaign as First Lady, BE BEST, which The White House describes as “an awareness campaign focused entirely around the well-being of children”.
There are three main strands to the initiative: well-being, social media, and opioid abuse.
