Prince Harry could feel like a ‘duck out of water’ in LA for one shocking reason | Royal | News

According to author Duncan Larcombe, Harry may be viewed by members of the Hollywood elite as Meghan’s “plus one.” In a revealing interview with Closer magazine, Mr Larcombe alleged that Harry could be feeling “helpless” right now that he is unable to assist his family, particularly after Prince Charles just recovered from coronavirus, as he adjusts to California life.

It is believed that Harry wishes he was back in the UK to help raise spirits amid coronavirus pandemic.

The expert explained: “Harry didn’t go to university and he hasn’t had much work experience other than being in the army and charity work.

“Being in Hollywood is likely to make him feel like a duck out of water, as it will be tricky for him to find a suitable role.

“I suspect he will be missing home more than ever and feeling a bit helpless, referring to the efforts other members of the British royal family have been making to raise morale amidst the coronavirus pandemic.”

It comes as Meghan and Harry relocated to Los Angeles after Canada began to lockdown as the coronavirus pandemic took hold.

The transition to America hasn’t been all plain sailing, as it was revealed that the Queen’s grandson won’t be able to work in the US without a green card.

The former Duke of Sussex could be on a regular B1 or B2 visa after his move to Hollywood earlier this month.

Even if potentially Harry was on an A1 diplomatic visa, it would not allow him to work, other than in a government or diplomatic capacity.

In order to get a green card, Page Six has said the prince has three options: “Sponsor himself in the extraordinary ability category, Markle, 38, can sponsor him as a US citizen; or a US entity can sponsor him.”

After three years on a green card, Harry is eligible to become a US citizen, but this would mean he would have to give up his status as sixth in line to the throne.

An attorney speaking to Page Six said: “I would probably have Harry and Meghan’s nonprofit org sponsor him based on his history of high-profile philanthropy and public works and activism.

“If the org is not established in the US, they would need a US entity of the org as well.”

The attorney added: “The org could also sponsor him for permanent residence under the EB1A extraordinary ability category as well, but currently things are faster and easier through spousal sponsorship.”

Over on Instagram users have been providing their opinions own their latest move.

One said: “#PrinceHarry & #MeghanMarkle announced they were leaving the #RoyalFamily to live a quieter life and bring up their son in a more private way. So then they move to LA (the world’s celebrity epicentre) and name their charity #Archewell (after their son)?”

A second replied: “Yep! They said they wanted privacy and independence. Why would you move to LA if you wanted privacy.”
A third commented: “Harry needs to come home and be with his family!”

Critics have also questioned their latest charity organisation announcement.

Daily Mail columnist Jan Moir wrote: “The problem with the Sussexes is that, in such a short time, they have become increasingly preposterous.

“Just listen to them earnestly elaborating on their Archewell aims: ‘To do something of meaning, to do something that matters.

“Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon’.

“I mean, who are they trying to fool? The current global health crisis has made many take stock, and to focus with piercing clarity on what is really important; family, health, love and safety.”
