Queen and Adam Lambert: Brian May encourages fans amid coronavirus with Monty Python song | Music | Entertainment

As the coronavirus pandemic worsens across the globe, Queen and Adam Lambert star Brian May has shared some positive messages and tracks to encourage fans. The 72-year-old, who is very active on his Instagram posted a video playing Monty Python’s Always Look On The Bright Side of Life from Life of Brian. May wrote: “Well, look at it this way … we’re all in this together …”

She added: “He has the world on his shoulders and he’s a rock star living the dream!

“He’s a funny one!”

Last week it was confirmed that Queen and Adam Lambert had been forced to postpone their upcoming Paris concert due to coronavirus.

The concert was due to take place on May 26.

However, the French Ministry of Health has banned all indoor public gathering over a capacity of 5000 people.

In a statement on their website, Queen announced: “Unfortunately, our show in Paris has had to be postponed following a government decree in France to cancel all indoor events over 5,000 capacity in France until 31st May in an effort to contain the spread of Coronavirus.

“We will make a further announcement at the earliest opportunity. Please keep hold of your tickets, which would be valid for the new date.

“Ticket holders will be advised on reimbursement procedure, if required, in due course.”
