Royal tiara: Which is the most expensive royal tiara in the Queen’s collection?

Mrs Greville, a close friend of the Royal Family and the Queen Mother, left her entire jewellery collection to Queen Elizabeth when she died.

Due to its high quality and abundance of precious stones, as well as strong links to royal history, experts believe it could fetch up to £10million at auction.

Ms Papas said: “With such strong historical provenance, from Mrs Greville to the Queen Mother, and now the Queen, an elegant jewel such as this would be estimated to fetch in the region of £5-10 million at auction.”

The tiara was one of the Royal Family’s lesser known pieces, until it was worn at a high profile royal wedding in 2018.
