Indeed, the COVID-19 pandemic has created upheaval for many people, who may need to analyse their finances in more detail

As such, the Chancellor Rishi Sunak and HMRC are now being urged to announce an extension of the deadline to help those affected by the crisis.

Accountancy firm, Moore, has asked the Revenue to take action by providing Britons with at least an extra month to deal with their Self Assessment tax return.

The organisation has said such an extension will help the elderly or otherwise vulnerable, many of whom have been forced to shield, to have enough time to complete all their vital paperwork.
