Tottenham fans demand Jose Mourinho is sacked after RB Leipzig defeat in Champions League | Football | Sport

Tottenham fans have been left fuming with Jose Mourinho after the club was knocked out of the Champions League by RB Leipzig on Tuesday night. Supporters have demanded that Mourinho is sacked as manager, after what was a disappointing display in Germany.
Tottenham went into the match 1-0 down, after Timo Werner gave RB Leipzig an early advantage.
Spurs were dealing with a number of injury problems; most notably to Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn.
But, fans were still disappointing with Tottenham’s display against the Bundesliga side, after a 3-0 defeat on the night.
After the match, supporters vented their anger on social media, and demanded that Mourinho leaves the club.

“The only thing I wanna see is Mourinho out,” tweeted another Spurs fan.
“Mourinho get the f*** out of my club,” said another supporter.
One Twitter user added: “Somebody get Mourinho out of here what a bum.”
“Pochettino is available, just saying,” tweeted one fan, while another simply said: “Mourinho and Levy out.”
“I won’t watch until mourinho is out,” claimed another Tottenham fan.
The hosts doubled their lead 11 minutes later, again through Sabitzer.
He headed the ball into Lloris’ near post from a difficult angle.
Emil Forsberg rounded off the win in the 87th minute, after a scramble in the Spurs box.
The Spurs attack ran constantly throughout the match, but it was ultimately in vain.
Tottenham’s only remaining competition this season is the Premier League now, as they battle to finish inside the top four, to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
