Donny van de Beek insists he hasn’t agreed a deal with Real Madrid for the summer, leaving the door open for Manchester United to swoop in.

The Ajax ace has been linked with both clubs ahead of the summer window.

And in an interview with magazine Helden, he said: “Playing in the sun is always nice, but no, I haven’t started taking Spanish classes.

“I still haven’t said “yes” to anyone, it’s all open. I know what I have here, I’m loved by Ajax and I love Ajax.

“My feeling should be positive at a club, not only that they want me but also that I fit in their system of play. Of course, I also want to know the game time they will give me.”

Sancho ready to snub United

Jadon Sancho could snub Manchester United if they miss out on the Champions League this season.

Sancho is United’s number one target going into the summer, but the Sun report he could still snub them.

Sancho is keen to remain in the Champions League and is on course to play it next year with Borussia Dortmund.

So if United miss out he is not keen to take the step down.

That comes despite talk that United are ready to pay Sancho £400,000 a week.

Griezmann could be a ‘serious bargain’

Manchester United could get themselves a serious bargain in a deal for Antoine Griezmann this summer.

“Griezmann turned 29 last month so he’s at that point in his career where your valuation and your worth in the transfer market goes down inevitably,” Duncan Castles said on the Transfer Window podcast.

“You have to find another club who is prepared to take him.

“Everyone knows that Barcelona are in difficult financial situations.

“Everyone knows that the dressing room didn’t want Griezmann to come in the first place and want him out now and that Barcelona are looking for a replacement.

“So all of those things reduce his value and that’s why I think you will see a club like Manchester United, who tried to sign Griezmann in the past and value him as a player, value him as a commercial asset as well, that’s part of their thinking in trying to sign him two years ago, say: ‘Well let’s just have a look at this and see if there is a serious bargain to be had.

“‘How far can Barcelona be pushed? Who else is interested in taking the player? How much competition is there on the market?

“‘And maybe we can get someone we were prepared to spend the majority of our transfer budget on two years ago at a fraction of that cost and if that is the case, perhaps that’s a better route to go down than the one we’d originally been playing’.”

Mourinho U-turn on Ndombele

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is ready to give club record signing Tanguy Ndombele another chance.

Mourinho has criticised the £65m man after struggling to adapt to English football.

But according to the Daily Star Mourinho will offer him another chance to impress in London.

Reports had already linked Ndombele with a move away, with Barcelona among those linked, but Mourinho is said to want to give him more time to turn the corner.

A source told the Star: “Jose believes Ndombele is a player of great quality. He will not ditch him.”

Barca keen to sell Griezmann

Barcelona are ready to sell Antoine Griezmann this summer, according Ian McGarry.

“We would like to bring you breaking information that has arrived here at transfer centre and that regards the curious case of Antoine Griezmann,” McGarry said on the Transfer Window podcast.

“The man who went to Barcelona last season for €120m, has scored just eight goals in La Liga since being there, has not exactly lived up to the reputation that he took with him from Atletico Madrid.

“Obviously we know he turned down a huge move to Manchester United two seasons ago and we are told here at the Transfer Window that Barcelona are subtly and discreetly marketing Griezmann for a move in the summer window.

“Reasons for this are as follows. A – as we’ve just said, his performances have not matched the level that Barcelona expected him to do.

“Secondly, he’s not believed to be a particularly good influence in the dressing room.

“He is egotistical and selfish in some things we’re told and that’s not gone down well with team ethic, which has existed for so long at Camp Nou, as well as of course the little maestro himself Lionel Messi, who disregards him as a valuable team-mate.

“Third, and certainly by no means one of the insignificant reasons, Barcelona are in financial trouble.

“We reported this on the podcast earlier this week.

“Huge debts to service, huge wage bill they want to cut, very, very poor recruitment compared to performances in the last 18 months to two years.”

Kane £150m battle

England captain Harry Kane is at the centre of a £150million tug of war between Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Kane admitted he could leave Tottenham if they don’t match his ambition to win trophies.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with Kane, but look set to admit defeat due to his price tag and their preference to sign Jadon Sancho this season.

Although United are long-time admirers of Kane, executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward accepts the chances of getting him to Old Trafford are remote.

And that leaves Real Madrid and Manchester City to battle it out over the £150m transfer.

Coutinho to Chelsea

Jadon Sancho moving to Manchester United has pushed Philippe Coutinho towards Chelsea, according to reports in Spain.

Sport report that Sancho’s snub of Chelsea puts them on course to sign Coutinho from Barcelona.

The Barcelona ace has struggled in Spain and is on loan at Bayern Munich but they are unlikely to trigger their permanent option.

And Coutinho has been linked with Chelsea, Tottenham and United – but the Blues appear to be the most likely destination at the moment.
